Hello there! I’m Haoyi "Steve" Wang, a fresh graduate from the University of Pittsburgh, where I majored in Digital Narrative & Interactive Design and minor in Film and Media Studies. I’ve got a knack for weaving stories into interactive worlds, and I’m on a mission to design games that are not just played, but lived!
I’ve been fortunate enough to work on an Air Traffic Control-themed game for the OdysseyNow project at the Vibrant Media Lab at Pitt, where I led the development of gameplay mechanics and design. I’ve also had the opportunity to contribute to Tencent’s Lightspeed Studio on PUBG Mobile. Along the way, I co-founded an education consulting company in China, gaining hands-on experience in business and project management.
When I’m not brainstorming game mechanics or crafting digital stories, you’ll find me gaming, bingeing sci-fi movies, or DIYing some hardware and handcraft projects. I’m always up for a new challenge—especially if it means creatively blending different fields into something lively!
